Ted, short for the teddy bear he is, is the kind of friend we all want. One lucky boy was able to actually have one. Ted talks, gets drunk, chases the babes, and curses like a regular guy. When the chips are down for his buddy, he goes to bat for him. And instead of losing the buddy to a girl, Ted gets a second friend.
Despite a horrific summer storm, the movie theatre in North Haven, Connecticut was packed for the viewing of "Ted." The reporter I am, I checked out the other films that were being shown and none, not even the Batman one, was so full. Admittedly there were two showings at once of the Batman flick but even then the content of the two were put together they wouldn't total the audience for "Ted."
There's a message here. People want uplifting, funny, heartwarming stuff in their lives. I predict there will be a backlash against doom and gloom media. Maybe even the gossip industry will be derailed. Do we really care that Suri wants to stay with Tom and that Katie is heartbroken.
I am hoping I can build a site similar to your own and will check out your posts with great interest.
