Meanwhile here in the economically fearful U.S. Barack Obama might be elected to fill that role here. We're scared.
We want/need someone who understands us and maybe just maybe can help us dig our way out of this economic downturn and towards a more equitable form of capitalism. There's a big burden next week on the GOP at its convention in Minnesota to address this growing despair as well as the hunger for reform.
