Conservative Drudge Report headlines that there are only 50 days until the official start of the Trump Administration. Then there is a link to The Washington Post article on what The Trumpettes are doing right now and will continue to do once the clock starts ticking on the critical first 100 days.
The Trumpettes' agenda is three-fold:
Reform the tax code
Review and revise trade agreements
Negotiate directly with major corporations (there will probably be a lot more Carrier-like agreements concerning plans to outsource)
As we know: The Trump phenomenon has changed everything. That has included what politicos used to call the "clean sweep." The attempt at that used to start at the swearing-in. No more. The Trumpettes are busy bees even before their leader takes the oath of office.
Clickbait genius Matt Drudge has gotten the headline perfect. Currently what matters - and a lot - are the Trumpettes' early moves. Getting Carrier to keep 1,000 jobs in the U.S. created an amazing bit of symbolism for this team of guerrillas' victory against the old order.
On-demand-economy contractors such as myself want the guerrillas to close down the outsourcing of communications assignments to locations such as India. Vendors there are thrilled to do the assignments for one-fourth the usual U.S. rate.
You don't have to be a production full-time employee to be harmed by outsourcing. U.S. players using services such as Upwork to farm out work overseas should be paying a hefty surcharge.
