According to Frank, the two power players no longer talk with one another. That's unfortunate. for Ailes.
After all, after the resurrection of Emailgate, Trump has a real shot at winning on November 8th. Had he still been cozy with Ailes, the former Fox head could have created a high-profile, lucrative political consulting enterprise. That's how he started out: Advising Richard Nixon.
There is also the possibility that a President Trump could turn on Ailes. That negative force could further impede an Ailes comeback.
What ever will ever happen to this roly-poly? The narrative has become second-tier, of course. We Ailes watchers will have to dig to find out about the Next, if any.
