Both Diane Sawyer and Hillary Clinton are Baby Boomers. Both are practiced in public speaking. And both are iconic in their staying power - Sawyer in the tough world of television, Clinton in that of politics.
Then, why did Sawyer come off in her interview with Clinton as youthful, trustworthy, smart and warm? And Clinton exuded old-line Machiavellianism, shiftiness, inability to be quick on her rhetorical feet and cold? Sawyer also was so attractive. With her eyes bulging, Clinton looked like a hag.
