While Hillary Clinton still continues with the Hamlet stance, Jeb Bush is making it explicit: He is considering running for president in 2016. Here is the coverage from Politico.
Immediately, the game is changed. Hillary can't continue with the Run or Not To Run stance. Not while Jeb is being more transparent. The big guns in American liberalism, especially the fundraisers, will put the squeeze on Hillary.
Should both Hillary and Jeb both enter the race and should they both become the nominee for their respective parties, then neither can be attacked for being part of a dynasty. That will just be there as a "So."
But the campaign for president will put two generations against each other. Hillary could be framed as the old guard, a Baby Boomer who had her time and now it is over. Jeb could be positioned as the new guard, bringing conservative middle of the road thinking to a nation in disarray.
The Jeb Effect could also mow Chris Christie to nothingness as a national politico. Ted Cruz could be made to appear extreme.
Is the electon Jeb's to lose? Never underestimate Hillary.
