We who have suffered since the 1990s through the saga of the Farrow clan might be delivered from our misery. Finally and maybe forever more. Please, no more time spent in the courtroom with family feud.
According to sources for Confidenti@l, "Ronan Farrow's MSNBC talk show is facing cancellation amid poor ratings ... [he] has been a disaster from MSNBC." Here is the article. Last Wednesday, for instance, his talk fest ranked 708th as measured by Nielsen.
That should be no surprise to anyone who took a peek at how this 28-year-old was sucking up the air, instead of allowing guests to fill that space with their unique selves. Television is too brutal a medium for youngsters who are a bit too full of themselves.
Hopefully, this humiliation will tame the publicity machine of Farrow Inc. Most recently it had gone into overdrive with the article on Mama Bear in Vanity Fair. There the treat was that Ronan might be Frank Sinatra's son, not Woody Allen's. The machine probably hit its peak load with Dylan's letter in The New York Times. Now, it's time to put that machine in the garage or barn at the family compound in Connecticut.
Goodbye, Ronan. Try to leave room in the world for other human beings.
