It's binary, well almost. Along the Northeast Corridor, either you have a garage or you don't. There is some wiggle room for a covered parking space in a residential complex. Those who have a garage or covered parking space do not have to dig their cars out after the myriad snow storms. Those who don't do.
The Garage has morphed from being a symbol of innovation in Silicon Valley to one of ultimate status along the Northeast Corridor. We treat those with garages differently. Also, those with garages can zip right out after a storm. The rest of us have to marshall our resources about how and when to dig out.
Later today another whopper of a snow storm is coming. The Garage People don't have to give a damn.
