The powers that be at Dow Jones must have declared this particular storm a crisis. For the first time since I subscribed to the print edition of The Wall Street Journal, it wasn't pushed under the door into my New Haven, Connecticut apartment.
My take on the February 13, 2014 weather event is that, so far, (8:46 A.M.) it isn't worse that the two which occurred last week. Yes, I felt lost without the ritual of poring over the morning paper.
However, there's the possibility that the storm could become a lot worse, preventing the newspaper delivery vehicles from returning to the garage. Also, there's the ice factor. It's everywhere, under the snow. A sidewalk by the deli in my complex had been cleared. Yet those in wheelchairs can't get traction because of the ice. That's our opportunity to do good deeds.
