In a Westchester County, New York courtroom the Kennedy dynasty is blundering its way through a trial. Defendant Kerry Kennedy has a lawyer who the judge shut down in opening arguments for presenting a laundry list of all the greats in the family. One wonders how the jurors took that in. Also, in the courtroom are brandname Kennedys such as Ethel and Robert. Again, we wonder what the jury is making of that.
In more hip Manhattan, another dynasty is being born. That's the Farrow clan. Oh, they are ever so dysfunctional. Already, on the front lines Ronan Farrow is throwing his power around. The New York Post reports that at special event tonight reporters are being asked to sign a form indicating they will not ask any "Allen" questions. Here is that coverage.
It was the resurrection of the Farrow-Allen feud in Vanity Fair which helped catapult Ronan to fame. On his MSNBC show "Ronan Farrow Daily" he didn't dazzle, at least not yet. But mystiques don't have to align with any reality. Also, a tweet against Allen here and another commentary by Dylan there and Ronan and other Farrows will have no trouble filling the space left by the fading Kennedys. Mia has replaced Ethel.
Let the good times roll for the tabloids as well as established media.
