In a volatile global economy, continually disrupted by digital, we are struggling to get a handle on how we are doing. Are we on an upward trajectory, stuck or even totally 2013? One metric for assessing how we are trending is our LinkedIn Profile.
One service LinkedIn provides is continual data about who is checking our profile and how many have been doing that in real time. From experience we know that there seems to be a correlation between when our business is flat and the checking activity on LinkedIn. In fact, I estimate the effectiveness of a new marketing campaign by the rush to LinkedIn or the lack of that.
