There's something downright endearing about a middle-aged man such as Cory Booker whose weight fluctuates. As the NEW YORK POST reports, Booker does his share of stress-related and people-pleasing eating. During this current campaign for the U.S. Senate Booker has been doing a lot of the latter. After all, that's what politicos do.
His fat can be a humanizer, at least because of his age. A younger man would be expected to be in more control of his eating and, therefore, his appearance. My hunch is that Booker, if he gets to the U.S. Senate, will leverage putting on the pounds as a symbol of his concern about those big national issues. Smart move. His saga in the media can become the World According to Fat.
