Mary Crawley has had her "procedure." The doctor wants her to return for a checkup in six months and assumes by then she will be pregnant.
All the Crawleys, including the Earl, had been concerned because the union of Mary and Matthew had not produced an heir. Hopefully, in the season's finale this Sunday that angst will be ancient history. Like the current Princess Kate, Lady Mary will have a baby bump.
