Manhattan micro-units: Just right for ghostwriters, thanks to no more print books

Pre-digital, ghostwriters couldn't make it without a two-bedroom apartment, with one of those bedrooms just for all the books that are used for creating copy.   

Now with digital, we can consider one of those Bloomberg endorsed micro-units in Manhattan, some as tiny as 250 square feet.  As NEW YORK MAGAZINE reports, they are even affordable with the rent about $940 a month.  A decade ago I paid that, plus utilities, for an apartment in nowhereville, that is, North Haven, Connecticut.  At that time I still had four large wooden bookcases of print books, including all of Shakespeare's plays. 

Will ghostwriters grab our laptops and smartphones, flee the suburbs, and descend on Manhattan?
