Roger Ailes, the creator and preserver of Fox, is first a businessperson. And GOP ideology isn't very marketable these days.
So, as Gabriel Sherman reports in NEW YORK Magazine, Ailes has muzzled outspoken conservative Karl Rove. According to Sherman's scoop, Rove can't be on Fox without special permission.
Many assumed that Machiavellian Rove was invulnerable. After all he was puppeteer pulling the strings on so many conservative elections. Well, now we bear witness to the reality that even power brokers can lose their power. The new storyline is if Rove can regain his power.
