Ho Ho Ho. A very short Christmas Day it will be.
Enough last-minute assignments have come in from around the globe so that I will be in and out of all that good cheer fast. There will be not even time to reflect sadly on the members of my dysfunctional family who won't be around the table with us (the functional members of the family). Instead, since we haven't talked in years the anorexics will be pushing around the food on their plates and the bulimics sneaking off to the restroom somewhere else.
All I lack is that one rush job which pays over the top. It still could come in. After all, it's only Thursday night and Christmas isn't until Tuesday. And there is also the rest of the holiday season until January 1.
