Conservative site DrudgeReport has the story of how television viewership for Barack Obama's speech plunged from 2008. Well, of course it did. So many of us, including Baby Boomers like myself, were taking it in via online video. POLITICO was streaming the whole thing.
Incidentally, I am among the growing number of Americans in all age categories who no longer owns a television. I catch what I need such as the SuperBowl on online video. For what isn't, at least not in real time, I charm my way into houses which are willing to pop almost $80 monthly for cable.
DrudgeReport carries the DEADLINE HOLLYWOOD article which has the ratings drop from 2008 at a high of 50% for ABC and a low of 5% for NBC.
