Finally some good news on the newspaper front. MEDIABISTRO.COM reports that at the NORWALK HOUR members of the Newspaper Guild and the newspaper have come to a tentative contract agreement. The terms and conditions are rosy for employees, although they may not be all they want.
For example, there will be a 2% raise every year. Employees will kick in less for their health insurance. And the paper can't replace full time employees with workers who are temporary.
Sounds like the 20th century to me.
