We know the Nordstroms, Lord & Taylors and Coaches. That's the high end. And we know the low end. Those are the dollar stores, Targets, and Wal-Marts. In five years there might be nothing in between. Middle brands are vulnerable, especially in retail. But they are also being threatened wherever there is upheaval, as there in putting value on graduate degrees in business.
