The joy of despair: Glenn Beck & his merry sad-sack followers

Adolescence is one of the most self-absorbed times of our life.  It's mostly dedicated to the joy of despair.   And Glenn Beck and his merry sad-sack followers are stuck in a similar state.  Only they are way past the chronological age when society tolerates that total mood indulgence.  The only hope that this will all stop is if the media loses interest.  Beck can have another rally and the crowd will quickly disperse because of no media there to record their emotional agony.
