Tonight's "Desperate Housewives" was very complex. The theme was seduction, but that was further broken down into an analysis if what might appear as seduction is really human beings getting what they wanted.
Take Katherine. On the one hand, perhaps Robin the former stripper lured her into bed. Or, perhaps this is what Katherine wanted to happen, especially after her nutty first husband and the devastating affair with Mike the Plumber. In any event, Katherine and Robin are now together as a couple.
Then there's Sam Bree's new employee. He's seducing her away from her son Andrew with his competence. But is Bree fed up with Andrew's self-indulgent ways. He slept with an incompetent young man they hired and Bree needs to fire. It might be time for Bree to cut loose, at least for a while, Andrew from her life and the business.
Then there's Gabby. When she discovers the partying gays long for baby and even have a nursery set up, she is ready to return to Married With Children. Perhaps, despite all her kvetching about domestic life, it's the right fit for her.
Threatened by the new girl who will be born, Penny runs away from home. Lynnette wins her back. They have a girls's night out with sundaes in the hotel room that Penny rented with Lynnette's credit card. Who wanted to be seduced about accepting this new addition to the family?
Mrs. M's spot on her lung seduces her boyfriend to be ready to settle down into marriage but this might be exactly the security he wanted all along.
And Danny runs to New York to be with Carlos's niece. But is he really running away from this family with so many secrets. Angie fears that in New York he might bump into some of those secrets. Angie and her husband pack their bags. We have no idea what their background is.
The question is profound: Is anyone really seduced or does that process just make it easier for us to grab at what we wanted?

If you can not change the weather, why do not you change the mood. As the saying goes: after the storm. The same is true of life, after training can often make life wonderful. Posed By Juicy Couture Handbags
