The joke is still Greenwich, Connecticut. And THE NEW YORK TIMES, like most of the elite institutions, has missed it. In the "Real Estate" section, the NYT has a two-page article on the great bargains to be had now in that tony town. Property can be purchased for - what a steal - $645,000.
For those who get the joke, an under $15 read, and a fast one, is my novel "The Fat Guy From Greenwich." It even has the scoop on Greenwich Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, how the help hates the employers, and the Catholic Mafia.
