The folks at Ben & Jerry's in Vermont put their labeling where their values are. During the fight in the legislature in VT for marriage equality, the company aggressively campaigned for same-sex marriage - as a good business idea. Pass that bill and the state would be able to attract the best and brightest to work and consume, Ben & Jerry's argued.
The bill did pass. To celebrate that, reports Michael A. Jones at change.org, the ice-cream company has re-labeled the flavor [vanilla malt with fudge-covered pretzels and peanut butter] "Chubby Hubby" to "Hubby Hubby" for one month, starting September 1st.
