"Desperate Housewives" - Katherine, Bree, Susan on top 5 years later

After a roller-coaster final episode tonight's "Desperate Housewives" flashes forward five years into the future.  Some of the girls aren't faring so hot.

Gaby, who thought she couldn't have children, has two obese ones.  Gone are her own good looks and good figure.

Lynette, who definitely has aged, has major problems with at least two of her sons.  One son has already been a guest of the state in juvie and another just got arrested for joy-riding.

Now for the success stories.  Bree morphed into a business woman with son Andrew as her administrative assistant.  Orson is back in her life.  Perhaps after lying to the police about Katherine's killng her husband Wayne gave Bree new perspective on crimes of the heart.  She might have understood what had compelled Orson to run over Mike.

Katherine is calm.  She receives a call from Paris from daughter Dylan.  Daughter has just received a proposal, right there in Paris.

Susan, who was dreadfully mismatched with working-class, demon-ridden Mike the Plumber, has a new husband.  She hasn't aged a second.

It's going to be a long summer, waiting for the girls to be back.
