"CSI: Miami" - Dazzling Dramatic Start

Tonight's "CSI: Miami" started out with dazzling dramatics.  The episode opens with a man doing a swan dive out a window, with plenty of accompanying screams.  When the new medical examiner Dr. Higgins, a beauty right up there with Alexx, begins so does gunfire. She is killed.  Our trusty leader H bends over to check her heart.  He gets blood on his face.  Then he announces, "She's gone."

Then the mystery begins.  We get a break in the build-up of drama with the introduction of the replacement for Dr. Higgins.  He couldn't be more buttoned-down and boring.  Right off the bat, Eric reprimands him for not being as fast in his work as Alexx was.
