If Erik D. Heinrich has to stay in jail in Wisconsin until his trial for shoe theft, he will have no access to his substance of choice: Teenage girls athletic shoes. The question for fetish experts: Will the other male inmates have to keep a close eye on their shoes or are there no cases on file of cross-smellers?
According to MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL reporter Jacqueline Seibel, Heinrich was charged with in Waukesha County Circuit Court, Wisconsin yesterday with three counts of burglary. He had allegedly stolen more than 1500 pairs of girls' athletic shoes from local high schools. Seibel says that Waukesha police Lt. William Graham indicated, "He [Heinrich] liked to smell them."
Unfortunately, because he is laid off the defendant doesn't think he can post the $10,000 bail.
